Pablo 100 – The game design

Before we start with the development of the game from the ZX Spectrum, I think I should start with a little design document, every project should have a design document and this little project will be no different.

ZX Spectrum version

The original version of this little project was a type in program that was listed in Your Sinclair, the main aim of the articles was to show people how easy it is to create a small game with custom graphics, and levels, pickups and some form of death inducing devices.

DS Version

The DS version will eventually be a side scrolling platform game based in the world of the Pablo Bros.  The sprites for the main character will be improved from the original “circle on legs” like ZX Spectrum graphics, baddies that need to be avoided will be added as well.

More information on this version of the project will be added when I get closer to implementing it
