It was an unusual day yesterday, not only was Gemma Atkinson on hand to hand out signed posters for the upcomming Red Alert 3, but she also stayed to judge the “Battle of the Rockbands” – an EA sponsored event.  It was interesting to watch in all it’s glory, but that lasted only for a short while since only 4 bands entered the event.  I was also feeling a little under the weather, which has improved today after a long sleep overnight.

I got an invite into the Red Alert 3 public BETA today, but I’ll have to wait until I get back home to try it – there’s an update that the network here is blocking.

I’ve not played many games today – been mainly faffing on with the pictures and trying to grab freebies, so far it’s a good list:

• 2 Bad Company Grenades – Stress Releif
• A pig shaped stress relief
• An UltraViolet Machines t-shirt
• A Quantum-Force t-shirt
• Crucial Frisbee
• 2 Crucial keyboard cleaners
• A couple of inflatables
• and some other stuff that will be used at work

Well it’s nearly 10AM on the first full day of i-34 and I’ve installed the WordPress blogging software on this site as a temporary measure while I create the site design, this blog will actually be part of the new site layout and hopefully I should have something up and running soon.

The idea behind this blog is to allow me to chuck ideas onto a canvas and to keep them there in the wild so that people can see what’s going on with any applications I write.  I will be fleshing out this site over the comming weeks and months, but the primary purpose for now is to facilitate my need to comment on somethings before I forget them, mainly about the utils and games I’m working on.
